Where is the pickup point located at Piraeus Port?
Our main pickup hub is located at Akti Miaouli 10, right opposite Piraeus Port Terminal A. An agent will meet you at the terminal gate with a nameboard upon arrival.
What is required to rent a vehicle?
You need a valid driver's license (held for at least 1 year), a credit card in the main driver's name for the security deposit, and a valid passport/ID.
Is insurance included in the booking price?
Yes, our standard rental rates include Third Party Liability (TPL) and Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with a standard excess amount depending on the vehicle category.
Can I return the car outside office hours?
Yes! We support 24/7 key drop boxes at our Piraeus and Airport pickup stations. Please specify your return time when booking.

We collect personal details such as names, email addresses, and contact numbers exclusively to manage your car bookings at Piraeus port. Payment information is securely processed via PayPal and is never stored on our servers.

2. Usage of Data

Your information is utilized solely to process transactions, prevent rental fraud, and reserve your vehicle in our centralized database.

3. Storage Security

Data is stored safely in our secure database using modern encryption standards. We take all necessary measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access.

4. Sharing Policies

We do not sell, exchange, or rent client data to marketing firms or external third parties under any circumstances.

Terms of Use

PortCar terms and conditions for car rentals

1. General Terms

Welcome to PortCar. By accessing our website and using our rental services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Our services are exclusively available at the Piraeus Port Terminal and designated Athens hubs.

2. Driver Requirements

The primary driver must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid driving license issued at least 12 months prior to the rental date.

3. Booking & Payment (30% Deposit)

To secure a booking online, customers may choose to pay the full amount or a 30% deposit securely via PayPal or Credit Card. If the 30% deposit option is selected, the remaining balance must be paid in cash upon vehicle collection at the port.

4. Insurance & Liability

All vehicles come with standard third-party liability coverage. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is included with an excess amount depending on the vehicle category.

5. Fuel Policy

We operate on a 'Full-to-Full' fuel policy. Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at pick-up to avoid refueling charges.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time are fully refundable (including the 30% online deposit). Late cancellations or no-shows will forfeit the deposit amount.
